Scraps of Darkness - September

Happy Wednesday!

On the 15th (better late than never) of each month Scraps of Darkness reveal their monthly kit and sketch.

In case you have not heard of Scraps of Darkness, they are a monthly kit club for the alternative scrapper.  Each month I open the 'white box'  I am never disappointed. Scraps of Darkness kits and add-ons are full of the most beautiful paper, embellishments, flowers, color and ribbons any scrapper could dream of.  To see September's kit 'Passages' - please visit them HERE.

I love the Passages kit and I was finally able to sit down with it last night.  I have old pictures of my Grandfather and his family that I have been holding on to because I just hadn't seen the right paper for them but when I saw this kit, I knew they would be perfect together.

The sketch is done by Suepup Designs - always amazing.  Below the sketch is my take with the pictures of my Grandfather.  In the first picture, he is on the right and the second, he is squatting and on the right.

Supplies - SOD Passages kit
Supplies used not from kit: 7 gypsies ephemera: vintage mini,
the paper studio silk flowers; Tim Holtz distress ink-rusty hinge

Thank you for stopping in, comments are always welcome and very much appreciated.

Until next time - happy scrappin'! ~ Carol
